In the heart of the Black Forest, amidst a stern rural society, resides two unfortunate souls in love, Peter and Lisbeth. Born to a prosperous family of glassblowers, Lisbeth contrasts with Peter, a humble coal worker dwelling at the societal bottom. Peter, yearning for wealth and respect, succumbs to a dangerous pact with a devil known as Dutch Michael. In exchange for his human heart, Peter receives a stone one, stripping him of all warmth and compassion. His new stone heart fuels a merciless pursuit of power and riches, transforming him into a relentless, cold-blooded achiever. However, the man Lisbeth once cherished is now unrecognizable to her, forcing her to oppose him. With their love hanging in the balance, there's only one path to redemption for Peter: he must reclaim his stolen heart.
