Halt and Catch Fire

The area surrounding Dallas in the 1980s was known as Silicone Prairie for the radical and rapid technological innovation that happened there. This is the story of a group of unconventional free thinkers who carved out a piece for themselves. Charming salesman Joe MacMillan, genius engineer Gordon Clark, and brilliant outlaw coder Cameron gather together to form a small operation that intends to go up against the biggest hardware manufacturers of the day. They find themselves tangled up through the decades that follow as minor players in the seemingly perpetual technological boom. But their secrets will eventually catch up to them.
