Ghost Town Law (1942)

In the eerie, abandoned ghost town of Wyoming, a chilling mystery unravels as vigilant Marshal Tim McCall is summoned following the cold-blooded murder of his fellow lawmen. The slain marshals were hot on the trail of a relentless desperado, their pursuit leading them to this forsaken town, not haunted by spectral apparitions, but by a sinister gang of outlaws led by the merciless Ace. As McCall steps into this desolate town, he is joined by marshal comrades Sandy Hopkins and Buck Roberts, the latter craftily using a guise of amnesia to infiltrate the town's dangerous underbelly. However, this ghost town is not devoid of other intruders. The spirited Josie Hall, drawn by familial ties, ventures into the town in search of her kin residing in a foreboding mansion nearby. Ranch foreman Tom Cook, inexplicably without a ranch yet drawn to Josie, enters the mix, along with the enigmatic Indian, Pawnee, and the duplicitous Judge Crail, who harbors greed-filled dreams of claiming a deserted gold mine beneath the town. The ghost town and its ominous mansion, veined with a labyrinth of secret tunnels and passageways connecting houses and the old mine, pose a formidable challenge to the Rough Riders. This intricate maze serves as the backdrop for their relentless pursuit of justice, testing their courage and unity as they venture deeper into the town's chilling secrets. In a world where danger lurks around every corner and trust is a scarce commodity, the Rough Riders must unravel the twisted threads of this mystery to avenge their fallen friends and restore order.
