Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999)

A black contract killer has made a legendary name for himself among the mafia in Jersey City, but he prescribes to a unique code of honor. The Ghost Dog lives a simple life, largely tending to his pigeons when he isn't working and following the Samurai laws of bushido. Despite still being a masterful craftsman, a mistake leads to him being considered an expendable asset by the mafia. There's now a target on Ghost Dog's head, but his code of honor insists that he honor his master above all else. There is no easy solution and none that don't involve a lot of death.
