In the heart of Maharashtra, a region notorious for its alarming farmer suicide rates, we meet Kisna - a diligent farmer battling against the relentless forces of nature and societal adversity. With the odds stacked against him, he strives to give his best, unaware that his life is under constant scrutiny due to the grim local circumstances. At home, his family attempts to ease his burden in their modest way, their actions fueled by a desperate attempt to deter him from a tragic decision they fear he may be contemplating. His wife, grappling with this silent dread, enlists their innocent six-year-old son to shadow his father. Reluctantly, the young boy embarks on this daunting task, assigned to observe and report any unusual behaviour in his father. Kisna remains oblivious to the watchful eyes around him, his focus unwavering from his work and prayer for a merciful monsoon season. His life follows a cyclical rhythm: toil in the fields, harvest the crop, sell the produce, and repeat - all the while praying for the much-needed rain to bless his fields. Amidst the whispers of despair, Kisna's story is a poignant testament to resilience, hope, and the power of the human spirit.
