Fright Night (1985)

A nerdy horror movie fan becomes convinced that the new guy in his neighborhood is a vampire. When the foul undead creature sets its sights on the nerd's girlfriend, all bets are off. The teen teams up with the host of a public access horror movie show to confront the vampire and drive it from the neighborhood before all hell breaks loose.
