Plot

In the compelling sequel to Four Daughters, the musically adept family, helmed by Adam Lemp, Dean of the Briarwood Music Foundation, navigates the intricate symphony of life. The Lemp daughters, now wives, each face unique challenges that threaten to disrupt the harmony of their lives. Thea, bound in matrimony to affluent banker Ben Crowley, makes a decision that could strike a discordant note in their relationship. Emma, having chosen their neighbor, the kind-hearted florist Ernest Talbot, over the charismatic composer Felix Deitz, receives news that could cast a somber shadow over their marital bliss. Meanwhile, their youngest sister Ann, widowed after the tragic suicide of her husband Mickey Borden, discovers love with Felix, the man she always held close to her heart. Yet, Mickey's memory interweaves a bitter-sweet melody into their lives, especially when Ann uncovers a startling secret on the cusp of her engagement to Felix - she is carrying Mickey's child. The fourth daughter, Kay, embarks on a new journey of love with Dr. Clinton Forrest Jr., an obstetrician-turned-research scientist, who is passionately probing the cause of the fatal lung ailments plaguing the lumbermen across town. As the sisters traverse the labyrinth of love, loss, and life, they find their paths intertwined with unexpected turns and revelations. Four Wives paints a vivid portrait of the relentless rhythm of life, underscored by the enduring motif of family bonds and love's enduring melody.
