Plot

Ben Holmes, an ordinary man with an extraordinary job as a book-jacket blurbologist, is on an urgent journey to Savannah for his impending nuptials. His race against the clock takes a dramatic detour when an ill-timed encounter between a seagull and an airplane engine scuttles his flight plans. As the threat of a looming hurricane cancels all subsequent flights, Ben's frantic desire to reach the altar is met with Sarah, an eccentric yet alluring stranger offering a ride in her humble Geo Metro. Necessity binds them together on an unconventional road trip, punctuated by a series of calamitous events that blur the lines between serendipity and disaster. In the midst of chaos, they are mistakenly identified as a married couple, a misunderstanding that leads them into an awkward encounter with Ben's best friend and his girlfriend, who coincidentally is the bridesmaid. The unusual circumstances and their unconventional chemistry lead Ben and Sarah to an uncomfortable realization. They might be perfect for each other. But are they genuinely smitten or merely panicking at the precipice of significant life events? Ben's upcoming wedding and Sarah's anticipated rendezvous with a special someone hang in the balance. 'Forces of Nature' weaves a tale of unexpected alliances, ensuing chaos, and the perplexing nature of love, offering viewers a captivating journey through a storm of emotions.
