In the shadowy corners of his past, Kaan Woo (James Lew) finds himself tangled within a cult of enigmatic monks cloaked in brown shrouds, wielding inexplicable powers. A desperate bid for freedom sets him against the cult's malevolent queen, Ling Li (Nancy Kwan), who dispatches her loyal minion, Sir Xavier (Richard Norton), with a chilling mandate - extinguish Woo. Amidst this struggle against the forces of darkness, Woo's soul takes an unexpected journey, landing within the shell of Earl Stockman (Mark Pellegrino), a destitute drunkard wandering the streets. As bewilderment gives way to newfound mystical kung-fu prowess, the transformed "Superbum" prepares for an epic showdown against the sinister cult.
