Plot

In the shimmering world of stardom, where fame is a fleeting mirage and passions can be the key to the celestial top, young aspiring singer, "Ostra" (Katarzyna Sawczuk), dares to dream. Amidst the glitter and glamour of the cutthroat music industry, a popular talent show, "Music Race," persistently scouts for hidden gems across the country. The fate of these hopefuls rests in the hands of three diverse jurors: Olo (Maciej Zakoscielny), a faded pop star; Ewa (Julia Kaminska), the reigning queen of social media; and the doyenne of Polish jazz, Urszula Dudziak (as herself). A tumultuous audition in Olo's hometown puts "Ostra" in the limelight when she confronts the jury's haughty dismissal of her mother (Anita Sokolowska). This unexpected scandal proves to be a boon for the show's cunning producer (Tomasz Karolak), who propels "Ostra" to the next stage, uncovering not just her fiery spirit, but a voice that can captivate millions. However, the path to success is strewn with trials and tribulations. The allure of popularity is not as sweet as it seems, and our young hero must confront the harsh realities of the ruthless show business, her fierce competitors, and her own turbulent emotions. As this catapults her into a true test of character and integrity, "Ostra" must grapple with the pivotal question: what price is she willing to pay for her dreams? In this world where fame is a treacherous game, it's her fiery determination that will truly set the stage ablaze.
