In an era steeped in the throes of the Sino-Japanese war, a clandestine crisis unfolds. Four esteemed Western Generals, critical players in the allied forces, have been ensnared by the Japanese. The tension escalates as the Chinese, apprehensive of the demoralizing effect this news could have on their troops, hire the renowned Captain Don Wen.
The clock is ticking. Four days. That's all Don has to assemble his eclectic squad of misfits and liberate the generals. His motley crew includes Old Sun, the wily thief, Grease Lightning, the escape artist, and the cunning con-artist, Billy. Lily, Don's fiery ex-lover, the bumbling and mysteriously unnamed General, and his staunch ally, Stone, complete the eccentric ensemble.
Tragedy strikes when Don appears to be fatally ambushed. Nevertheless, the squad, now joined by the burly ex-wrestler Sammy and his shrewd former manager Emily, presses forward. Their mission? Survival, driven by the allure of gold and the prospect of pardons for their checkered pasts.
