This is a historical thriller about the early years of Elizabeth I, Queen of England, and the challenges she has to overcome to become one of the greatest monarchs of all time. England is in disarray with a bloody split between Catholics and Protestants. The Catholics hate her and her supporters are constantly trying to get her married, and she has to end her romance with Lord Robert Dudley. She is clever and intelligent and must make the right choices about who to trust among the people around her to maintain her position as Queen. How will she manage to gain control of the country?
