Upon the death of his mother, young Fran finds himself adrift, carried by the currents of fate into the austere confines of an orphanage. However, the walls of his new home do little to contain his spirit, as he yearns for the familiarity of his roots. He escapes, journeying to the ruggedly beautiful landscapes of Galicia, the land that bore his lineage.
Fran embarks on a solitary coastal walk, basking in the wild beauty of his parents' homeland. Suddenly, the tide turns treacherous, trapping him in its unforgiving grasp, leaving him stranded and unable to return. As twilight gives way to the star-lit mystery of night, he seeks refuge on a remote beach, surrendering to the lullaby of crashing waves.
Awakening to the intrusive roar of a motorboat, Fran witnesses a thrilling chase unfolding between the boat and the relentless police. A package is hurled into the water, its trajectory cutting through the dawn mist before disappearing into the ocean's depths. As Fran watches, his sleepy haven transforms into a stage for a drama tinted with intrigue and danger, marking the beginning of an unexpected adventure.
