Marshall, an audacious advertising whizz, finds himself stuck in the mundane monotony of a thankless job and an overly cosy relationship with his boyfriend, Gabe, of seven years. As the daunting reality of his thirtieth birthday looms, Marshall yearns for the thrill of a new life. His quest for change leads him to the enigmatic corners of the internet and into the alluring clutches of an app known as "eCupid". Promising to deliver true love, "eCupid" begins a dizzying sweep through Marshall's digital existence, turning his world topsy-turvy. Suddenly unattached and ready to plunge into a whirlwind of excitement, Marshall is swarmed by an army of attractive men, each one pledging to fulfill his wildest dreams. However, the intoxicating allure of his new-found freedom may be more than what he bargained for. As the charm of his dream-come-true life begins to wane, a sagacious and enigmatic waitress (Morgan Fairchild) offers Marshall a golden opportunity for redemption. With one final chance to heed his heart's true call, he must decipher the real from the illusionary and uncover what – and who – truly matters in his life. Marshall's journey serves as a poignant reminder that sometimes, too much of a good thing isn't necessarily a blessing in disguise.
