Earth to Echo (2014)

Teenagers Alex, Tuck, and Munch discover their neighborhood will soon be demolished. They one day discover their phones glitching out. From there, Munch determines the symbols lead to a location nearly 20 miles away from home. They sneak out on their final night together to figure out what's going on at the mysterious location. They bike out into the desert and discover an alien being inside a strange object. After some confusion, they're able to communicate with the alien through yes/no questions. The group then journeys back into the city to help the alien repair and restore its object.
