Dorian Gray (2009)

Dorian Gray is a character from an Oscar Wilde novel about a man who makes a deal with the devil for eternal youth. As the young heir to a fortune leads a debauched and sometimes criminal life in the late Victorian Era, a portrait of his ages as he would have without the deal. As Gray wallows in hedonistic pleasures, the portrait becomes warped and twisted even though his appearance hasn’t changed in 25 years. Is it possible for such a man to have a normal, happy life? Twice he falls in love and twice he is thwarted until the painting is destroyed, but that’s not the end of Dorian Gray.
