Harper, a dedicated law student with a heart of gold, finds himself ensnared in a web of suspicion and doubt. He's convinced that his manipulative step-father, Vincent, is the mastermind behind the car accident that has left his mother comatose. One fateful evening, in an unlit corner of an L.A whiskey bar, Harper's sorrow is disrupted by the rough-edged allure of Johnny Ray, a hardened redneck with a dangerous proposition. For a mere US$20,000, he offers to 'eliminate' the problem plaguing Harper's life: his stepfather. Goaded by anger, revenge, and an insidious flow of alcohol, Harper succumbs to the temptation and seals the deadly pact with Johnny Ray over rounds of whiskey shots. But as dawn breaks, Harper awakens to a splitting hangover and a murky recollection of the night's events. His regret is short-lived as he's met by an unexpected sight at his front door: a determined Johnny Ray and his aloof yet captivating girlfriend, Cherry, poised to embark on a perilous journey to Vegas, with Vincent in their crosshairs.
