In the heart of Brooklyn, 'David' unfolds the poignant tale of Daud, an eleven-year-old Muslim boy, grappling with his faith and identity. In a brave attempt to fit into his surroundings, Daud conceals his Muslim heritage and unexpectedly finds himself amidst a lively group of Jewish boys. Through a serendipitous mix-up, they welcome Daud into their fold, erroneously believing him to be Jewish. This unexpected camaraderie sparks a profound friendship between Daud and Yoav, one of the Jewish boys, allowing Daud to bask in a world of carefree joy and freedom seldom experienced in his young life.
