In the expansive plains of the Wild West, our heroes, Roy Rogers and his partner in adventure, Teddy Bear, find their dreams of gold prospecting fall flat. The town roils with the news of the disappearance of a young girl, Chip Williams, who is presumed kidnapped. The townsfolk rally under the leadership of Craig Allen, the sly proprietor of the town's gambling club and a man of significant influence. Narrowly escaping his clutches, our heroes find Chip who has fled for fear of losing her father's mine, which Ysobel plans to sell to the unscrupulous Allen. As the trio hides at the mine, they're discovered by the posse, including Ysobel and Allen. However, Chip clears Roy and Teddy's names. Moved by their bravery, Ysobel offers them employment on her ranch. But the mystery of the mine still looms, with Chip finding a hidden treasure not to be revealed until her sixteenth birthday, a secret that Allen is desperate to uncover. As midnight approaches, bringing Chip's birthday, tensions rise. When the letter revealing the secret goes missing, the race to find it ensues.
