In a world where academic success is often measured by a teacher's grade book, Handsome Davis and his trio of loyal friends - Sammy, Victor, and the brainy Applebee - march to the beat of their own drum. Rather than surrendering to endless nights of studying, this clever quartet has spent their school years crafting ingenious ways to cheat the system. Their cunning tactics have carried them smoothly through years of exams until their senior year of high school. Enter Mrs. Stark, the determined principal who heightens the stakes.
