In the heart of a nation where cricket reigns supreme, a forgotten hero, Kabir Khan (Shahrukh Khan), embarks on a journey to resurrect a sport hidden in the shadows - Hockey. Once a celebrated captain of the Indian Men's Hockey team, Kabir now returns as a coach of the Indian Women's National Hockey team, a group that exists largely in name only.
