Catch the Bullet (2021)

When U.S. Marshal Britt MacMasters, notorious for his lethal approach to justice, returns home from the trail, his world is rocked to its core upon discovering his 12-year-old son, Chad, has been snared by the ruthless outlaw Jed Blake and his gang. With his son's life hanging by a thread, Britt is forced to tread a perilous path into the heart of the untamed Sioux territory, accompanied by his Indian guide, Chaska, and Clay Tucker, a deputy whose prejudice towards their indigenous associate is as palpable as the desert heat. As the rescue party delves deeper into the crimson expanse of the Red Desert, they're lured into a deadly ambush orchestrated by the increasingly unstable Jed. However, the outlaw soon discovers that his young captive is not as helpless as he seems. Chad's daring escape attempts, though met with brutal punishment, result in a grievous injury to Jed, tipping the outlaw further into the abyss of madness. Racing against the ticking clock of his son's looming demise, Britt must confront the deranged outlaw while grappling with the escalating tension within his own ranks. Tucker's prejudice is put to the test when Chaska saves his life from the blade of a Sioux warrior, prompting a grudging respect to blossom amidst the brutality that surrounds them. Meanwhile, the increasingly unhinged Jed, fearing his deadly trap has been sprung, decides to play a sickening game of "Catch the Bullet" with his young captive. Before Chad can respond, the unseen Britt interjects with a chilling response, leaving the fevered Jed face-to-face with the relentless U.S. Marshal. The stage is set for a final showdown, where Britt must risk everything to save his son and bring Jed's reign of terror to a definitive end.
