Plot
There are few outward reasons why a small town priest like Father James would have any enemies, which makes it all the more shocking when someone confesses to him that he's going to be killed in a week's time. James is told that his death is a mater of principle, and he tries to take it with as much dignity as he can. As James sets out about his daily tasks, his faith is shaken and he takes note of the deeply rooted sin that runs through the everyday lives of his church's parishioners. He'll be forced to his furthest extreme before it's all said and done.
