In the heart of 1818 London, a clandestine love story begins to unfold, as if from the pages of an unwritten poem. The protagonists of this tale are none other than the gifted, yet struggling, English poet, John Keats, and the girl next door, Fanny Brawne, a fiercely outspoken devotee of high fashion. Their connection is unlikely, their initial impressions of one another less than favourable - he views her as a fashionable minx, she remains unimpressed by his words and the realm of literature as a whole. Fanny's world begins to shift on its axis as she learns of Keats' tender care for his gravely ill younger brother.
