In the concluding act of Bob Rafelson's informal trilogy, following 'Five Easy Pieces' and 'The King of Marvin Gardens', Jack Nicholson adorns the role of a father, having previously portrayed a son and brother. In 'Blood and Wine', he steps into the world of opulence as a prosperous wine merchant. However, his wealth fails to veil his personal shortcomings - his chronic philandering that created a chasm with his wife, and his neglect pushing his son further away.
