Be Cool (2005)

Chili Palmer confidently made the transition from working as a loan shark to working as a movie producer, but he's already felt like he's spinning his wheels in his most recent occupation. He's now turned his attention to the music industry, but that means that he's again forced to tangle with unsavory characters. In this instance, it's Russian gangsters who have a bone to pick with Chili and a crew led by a suburban rap entrepreneur. Chili's slick sense of negotiation will be key to his success, but he's in a whole new playground with its own set of rules.
