Audition (1999)

This is a horror story that involves a desperate man and a beautiful woman. The man is a widower who continues to mourn his wife’s death seven years later. His son has grown up and wants his father to remarry. Finding it difficult to date, a friend arranges for him to meet several women in a sort of audition. He chooses a fascinating and beautiful candidate, but everything is not as it seems on the surface. The horror begins to unfold through flashbacks and dream sequences. Is the nightmare he and his son are in reality or just part of a dream sequence induced by drugs?
