Plot

In the lively film, "All Girl Revue" (1940), the city awakens to the resounding news of women taking the reins for a day. The appointed mayor, a woman of song and spirit, issues a harmonious challenge to her female lieutenants, promising to paint the city with their charm and grace. The squadron of women then dash to the train station with a mission to greet the renowned opera singer, Madame Beverly. Within the bustling train station, they solicit assistance, prompting a melodious response from the woman manning the information booth, her song "Information Please" resonating through the grand hall. A dazzling chorus line then pirouettes around the station, their rhythmic tapping echoing amidst the crowd. The celebrated Madame Beverly makes her grand entrance, her voice soaring with the tune "I Love to Sing a Whole Note." The day culminates in a distinctive reception at City Hall, where the Mayor, in a symbol of solidarity, presents the key to the city to Madame Beverly.
