Admission (2013)

Middle-aged Portia put her son up for adoption as a newborn. Years later, she has a successful career as a recruiter for Princeton University. As she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative school that is run by her former classmate, John, Portia realizes that a boy who shows promise, Jeremiah, might be her biological son. Pretty soon, she starts bending the rules to try to get him into Princeton, learning more about herself, loss, familial bonds and growing up than she initially thought. Is Jeremiah actually her son, and will he go to the Ivy League school, or not?
