In the bustling world of property booms, Frank Mollard (Anthony LaPaglia) finds himself as a drifting real estate agent. Despite the divorce papers signed and sealed, emotional ties to his past life hold him captive, leaving him unable to connect with his teenage son and the thriving housing market. His life is a grey canvas, splashed with the sorrow of his mother's death a year ago. Then, one ordinary night, the unexpected rings in the form of a phone call from his deceased mother, throwing him into a whirlwind of confusion and longing. The narrative takes a turn when fate nudges Frank onto the path of Sarah, a woman whose warmth and kindness echo his late mother. Their serendipitous meeting sparks a friendship that begins to mend the fractures in his emotional walls.
